Had dinner with my family(minus my 2nd bro who's in camp) and my other bro's ahem, future-in-laws. Ate at this cozy Peranakan restaurant; haha the cuisine is juz like what i eat at home :p
Sigh was supposed to get our new jersey t-shirt today. Waited really long till 6 plus. But didn't get it cuz i gotta rush back home to meet my gran and bro who's gonna send us there. My parents were super duper late lor! 1 hour lah! And how ironic it is, that they always nag at me to plan my time properly :p
Got really pissed off juz now chatting with a friend. I know he prolly doesn't mean what he said but he sounded really really sarcastic; it's like he's looking down on the RP Adroits and i couldn't take this lying down anymore. Hah i rarely get really angry with frenz. But anyway, he explained that he didn't mean what he said, and that he doesn't despise us at all.
Ack well, juz wanna tell all the detractors out there: Look down on us? Think we're pushovers? Laugh at us when we say we have a match with other teams? All becuz most results we bring back are losing ones? Who are u ppl to judge us anyway? Yes, we might be weak and inexperienced since we're so new but what do u think we're training so hard for?? What do u think we play friendly matches with other teams and schools for? We aren't being shameless or cocky or whatever; we wanna improve and gain experience. Get that in your thick skulls.
Well, i'm glad that we don't allow ppl's words get to us so easily...although i did -points above- =x And i'm really glad janelle sent out that email to us; it's really encouraging. Thanks a million! :)
